Kelly Ortiz: Blogger & Founder of Disney Guru

I am an Disney Travel Planner that has helped hundreds of families create magical memories. I specialize in all Disney destinations especially Disney World and Disney Cruise Line vacations. In addition, I have a plethora of personal and professional experience in large group Disney vacation travel. I would be honored to help YOU plan the trip of a lifetime!

I took my first trip to Walt Disney World at the age of two. I have been addicted to the mouse ever since. Since then I have taken 33 plus trips to the most magical place on earth. About 11 of those trips my husband and I planned for our own family.  I can remember taking each of my children for their very first time….what a magical memory I will forever cherish.

My vision for creating Disney Guru is to help others plan a magical yet affordable Disney World vacation. I view all Walt Disney World fans as Guru’s and would love to have input and advice from all Disney Gurus right here on our site.

Last, I am open to ideas and input that would help enhance my site. I also love to talk Disney, do you need help planning? Email me!! I would love to hear from you!!!

See ya real soon!

Por favor mantanganse allejadro de las puertas.

This is the extent of the Spanish I know and I have Walt Disney World to thank for it.  As a child visiting the Magic Kingdom (nothing else until EPCOT opened) I would try to keep up with that monorail voice every time the doors would close.  Ask my parents – it was every time the door closed.

Thus began a life long love of all things Disney.  Hello and welcome to my bio!  I am Jenn and have the privilege of having been to Walt Disney World 63 times.  I started going to the Magic Kingdom with my parents in 1973 and just can’t get enough.

I love planning a trip, going on a trip, talking about trips and helping others plan their trips.

Fortunately, I married a man who shares my love for Disney and we have two daughters – Kate (7) and Ally (3).  Hubby has been about 40 times and Kate just finished trip number 20.  We average two to three trips a year and are members of the Vacation Club.  We usually travel with extended family AND we drive from the Chicago area.

I hope to share some stories, insights, tips and memories with you all thanks to Disney Guru.

I am a Disney loving mom of 3 that was born and raised in rural Tennessee. I am also the founder and blogger at Addicted to Mickey where I share my passion for Disney.  I clean houses to make money to fund my family’s trips. I went to Disney the first time as a teen and couldn’t wait to start introducing my own children to the magic. We went for the first time in 2004 to celebrate my son’s 5th birthday and that started it all. We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries as well. We have been 4 times since then and finally got to experience the Christmas splendor in December 2011. I also, recently went on a girls’ trip to celebrate Epcot’s 30 anniversary and Food and Wine. Sometimes my parents accompany us on the trip and I have to research and plan for things that will suit various ages in our party of 7. Each time I go, I try new experiences in lodging and dining so I can share it with friends and family that seek my advice on trip planning!

Kyle and Stacey Dreisbach:

Some of my fondest memories of childhood are being with my family at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.   We went 3 times when I was somewhere in the 6-9 year old range and I always wanted to go back as an older kid and teen but never had the opportunity.  I figured that I’d have to wait to have children to go back to Walt Disneyworld.

October of 2008 was our wedding and Stacey my beautiful wife and I had the discussion months earlier on where to honeymoon.  I brought up Disneyworld in a semi-joking fashion and she said she had always wanted to go growing up.  I knew we’d have a great time and I was really excited but I had no idea that I was about to be bit by the Disney bug.  It was the best time of our lives and we’ve been back 4 more times since then, all in the last year and a half.

My name is Kyle I’m 34 years old and I am a family doctor.  My wife Stacey is 26 and finishing dental hygiene school and we look forward to starting our family and taking our children down to Disneyworld for many magical vacations.  When my wife isn’t too busy with school she writes a blog called Mouse Tales (http://mymagicalmousetales.blogspot.com/).

My wife and I offer a unique perspective in that of our 5 visits since 2008 only one has been accompanied by children (my then 6 year old nieces) so we can offer a different vantage point on Disney experiences.  Of course as time goes on we hope to be bringing our own children to yearly or twice yearly Disney trips.   We have stayed in several value resorts and a couple of deluxe resorts and eaten just about everywhere on property.  I look forward to sharing my experiences with everyone.
