Thank you Kelly for helping me plan our first Disney vacation.  There is so much to plan and know about planning a trip to Disney and your expertise on the parks, resorts and restaurants was so valuable!  I know our trip would not have been as “magical” as it was if I had to do it on my own.  My husband was reluctant about this trip and said it would be a one time trip.  However, by the end of the second day he agreed to another trip in the future!  You had everything planned for us from when we landed in Orlando until we boarded the plane to come home.  Itwas so nice to not have to worry about our luggage using the Disney Magical Express. Our son celebrated his 4th birthday while at Magic Kingdom and his birthday button made it extra special everywhere we went.  Thank you, Thank you for making our family vacation so memorable.  I have highly recommended you to many of our friends and would happily speak to anyone who questions your great service.

After reading so many great things about the services offered by The Disney Guru, we decided to transfer our existing reservation over to Kelly. I am so thankful we did! Our trip was perfect, thanks to the work of Kelly and her staff. Where to begin? For starters, we were impressed with the personal attention we got from Kelly. We also got all of the reservations we wanted, even those that I thought would be hard to get! Throughout the course of our planning, we needed to make some changes to our reservations and even changed resorts. Kelly did it all for us. I loved the spreadsheet she gave us, complete will all of our pertinent reservation information—so helpful, all I had to do was print and go!

Another highlight of working with the Disney Guru was the phone planning sessions we had– one with Kelly, and then an itinerary planning session with Guru Jenn. These planning sessions were fantastic! Kelly walked us step-by-step through each of our days at Disney and helped us figure out everything from the best days to hit each park to the optimum times to make our reservations. She gave us suggestions that we wouldn’t have even thought of. Our itinerary planning session with Jenn was amazing! Thanks to her suggestions, we were able to fit in so much and really maximize our time in the parks. Her suggestions were spot on. If Jenn gives you a specific order in which to hit the attractions you want, you can be sure that if you follow them you will get the most out of your park days!

Throughout the planning process, Kelly was in touch with us every step of the way. We felt very comfortable knowing that we were in such good, capable hands. The expertise of the Gurus allowed us to have a truly magical Disney vacation. Thank you!

We had a great time at Disney and we couldn’t have done it without you, Kelly.  I felt like a superstar…my husband (who is a vacation critic) made the comment that he’s glad he went to Disney with me “in charge” because he felt as if our time was maximized with as much fun as possible.  He actually went into our Disney vacation dreading the whole experience.  He’s a little impatient with waiting in lines and gets grumpy in the heat (ha ha-he’s sometimes worse than my 5 year old and 2 year old.)  He was truly impressed with my Disney “know how” and how easy everything turned out to be.  He went on and on about how he “got to ride all the rides with no more than a 15 minute wait” in comparison to when he went to Disney as a child and “only got to ride 4 things in a whole day.”  I’m so thankful that I used Disney Guru…it wasn’t that I really was a Disney genius; it was that Kelly and her team let me in on all the secrets and did all the leg work.  All we did was show up!  Thank you Disney Guru for not only making the trip magical for my 2 kids, but also for my grown up husband and myself.  There’s nothing like seeing my kids’ (and husband’s) face light up.  My 5 year old even said to me, “Mommy, Disney World is where dreams come true.”  Wow, thanks for helping me make that happen.  I will always cherish the memories of this vacation.  We will definitely be contacting you for our next Disney trip!  Again, thank you so much!   You truly help make Disney a magical experience!

Kelly was so wonderful to work with planning our most recent Walt Disney World vacation from March 10 – 17, 2012. We have been to Disney a few times without a travel agent so I was somewhat skeptical at first about what the benefit would be. I quickly learned that there are so many benefits to working with Kelly!  It was a lot of fun planning my trip and bouncing my itinerary ideas off of someone who loves Disney so much. It was great to have someone so passionate about the parks to chat with. This was our first time staying on property so I had lots of questions about how things work on property with the resorts and buses and Kelly was always so quick to respond to all my questions that day. When it came time to make our ADR’s, Kelly set her alarm early to get up and make our reservations while I slept! She got all the reservations we wanted. The most valuable part of working with Kelly though came when we were actually on our trip.  Unfortunately both my husband and I got the stomach flu while we were on vacation. I missed a whole day at EPCOT, which is my favorite park and I missed out on a reservation at Le Cellier which I was really looking forward to this trip. Kelly contacted our resort and spoke with a manager who then made a personal call to me in my resort to check on me.  When I told the manager that we didn’t have park hopper passes and I was wondering if he could possibly make the ticket for our last day a park hopper so that we could go to Animal Kingdom (as originally planned) in the morning and go to EPCOT in the afternoon, he did it for us.  Kelly also encouraged us to contact Disney Dining about the Le Cellier reservation and as it turns out they had a last minute cancellation and we were able to have a wonderful steak dinner after all!  I would work with Kelly again in a heartbeat for our next trip to Disney!

I had Kelly book my 8 day, 7 night trip to Walt Disney World in September 2011. I have booked other Disney vacations through other travel agents (last one in Feb 2010) before but the amount of service and guidance I was given from Kelly was amazing. Kelly took all of my dining requests, along with my agenda for the parks and she successfully booked EVERYTHING. When I say she took care of everything….she literally took care of everything! I simply told Kelly the number of days I was looking to spend at each park, my arrival dates and times and she took care of the rest. She gave fabulous guidance on which park to visit on certain days to make use of the early opening times at certain parks, as well as days when parks stayed open later. She was able to purchase the tickets for “Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party” and fill me in on insider tips for going to the park during these special events.
Kelly gave me a great suggestion to book the Fantasmic! Dining Package so I was able to get my reserved ticket for the show when we ate lunch on the day of the show. She booked the reservation and confirmed the Fantasmic show ticket reservation. Kelly’s extensive knowledge about the dining options is second to none and she provided me with great culinary suggestions. As an example, I asked Kelly for a character breakfast suggestion that wasn’t buffet style and I also asked for one dining destination to require a trip on the monorail because that was my son’s favorite way to travel. She recommended the breakfast at Ohana’s with Lilo and Stitch and it was PERFECT! The food was amazing and served family style, the characters were constantly around and visiting, there was great music and dancing during the parade around the dining room and a good selection of characters (Pluto, Lilo, Stitch and Mickey) Her recommendation was spot on for my request. She scheduled the dining reservation, added the reservation confirmation number to the spreadsheet and then added in directions with the best way to get to Ohana’s (at the Polynesian).
She made a spreadsheet with everything! Kelly was very organized and unbelievably helpful with planning every aspect of my trip. She made recommendations for the hotel room placement and called the week before my trip to Florida to put in the room request so it was close to the transportation system. I didn’t pay the upgrade fee for a preferred room but my room placement was perfect and couldn’t have been any better even if I had paid the extra $100 for the week. I originally booked my vacation through Disney’s online vacation planning system and I thought I got it for the cheapest price. Kelly was able to keep all of my vacation plans the same (same hotel, same meal plan, same everything) but with a few suggestions like: subtract the park pass on the day we left to return home, remove the preferred room upgrade charge (I still swear I had the perfect room placement on the property near the BEST pool and very close to the dining options and bus system), because of Kelly’s spectacular planning of our dining plans, which lead to planning on parks and activities during the day, we just weren’t going to use the park hopper option so we saved money by not having to upgrade to include the park hopper option.
Kelly suggested all of these money saving options AND she offered the Disney gift card to transfer reservations. The Disney gift card was perfect because I gave it to my son for his souvenir spending money and it really was just “free” money. I wouldn’t have gotten it when booking it myself and there weren’t any hidden cost. I was able to pay for my vacation in three separate installments. Kelly created a complete agenda for my vacation and an easy to read and understand spreadsheet with: date, time, restaurant, confirmation number, location of restaurant in the park and directions with suggestions for the best mode of transportation to get there. Kelly booked the vacation, she booked all of my dining reservations, ordered tickets for “Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party”, booked the Fantasmic show reservations and made my vacation the most enjoyable one I’ve had yet. I’m a single mom and really appreciated the extra help in planning the vacation for me and my son. She goes above and beyond what any other travel planner has ever done for me and I definitely recommend booking your Disney vacation through Kelly!!!!

First off let me say that I have never used a travel agent for any kind of trip. I have always been one to plan everything myself. But when I saw the Disney Guru’s services were free and included a gift card I thought well let’s give it a try, I’m not losing anything! And I haven’t lost anything in fact I have gained so much! Kelly has been so helpful with any question I have thrown at her and believe me I have asked about everything from restaurants to completely changing my reservation. Plus she does a lot of fun things that I don’t ask for like having sweepstakes for her clients and sending links for personalized maps and recommendations of new things to do at the parks. And another thing I love about the Disney Guru’s is that if you have a question you can ask them and they will sometimes post it on Facebook so you can receive many different recommendations from Disney lover’s who have dealt with your same issue. So like I said with using the Disney Guru’s I haven’t lost anything, I have gained a Disney family!

Kelly provided my family with superior service with our Disney vacation! She was always available to ask questions to and provide suggestions for lodging, dining and everything in between. My group I was traveling with had some food resistrictions and KellThwas always able to direct them to the best location for them to eat. She is ready, willing and able to do all your bookings for you so you can keep your stress level down and just enjoy the dream of going to Disney. Speaking with her on the phone was like talking to an old friend! And her rates couldn’t be beat!
