Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

If you are unsure of what Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is be sure to read our complete guide. Possibly you are still unsure if you want to add tickets to your reservation, if that is the case see if we think the party is worth it here.

With the party starting at 7 pm there is an unofficial rule that Disney Cast Members will allow you to enter the park at 4 pm with your party tickets. This means that you have from 4-12 to plan for the festivities. We highly recommend that you plan to enter the park at 4 pm as the crowds begin to form outside of the park close to 7 making it almost impossible to enter on time. We have a plan below so that you can maximize your time.

This plan focuses on the party events and not just attractions: (the 2015 maps have not been released yet so this is a projection based on past events)

  • Enter the park at 4 pm and eat an early dinner at a location of your choice, just make sure it is in the park. Consult your park map to see where your highest priority meet and greet is located. For us, this would be Seven Dwarfs) Get in line, you will not be sorry.
  • There is special merchandise just for Halloween, be sure to schedule time in to shop if it is important to you. We usually shop after our preferred meet and greet so between 7:15-8:00.
  • 8:00-8:55-Consult your map and travel through a few trick-o-treat locations as you head on over to the castle to attend the 8:55 all new “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular”.  Stick around for a few meet and greets with the villains.
  • 9:30-10:00-Find your spot and enjoy “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks spectacular.
  • 10:00-11:00- Head over to the walkways in Liberty Square and Frontierland, on the side of the street opposite the Rivers of America for a great viewing spot of Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.
  • 11:00-midnight-Consult your map for a pick of your choice: trick-o-treating, character meet and greets, Club Villain ( a spooky dance party with the villains located at Diamond Horseshoe), Monstrous Scream-o-Ween Ball (dance party located at the Rocketflower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland,  or ride the attractions while all decked out in your Halloween attire.

We would like to suggest that you make time to ride Haunted Mansion. Madam Leota makes a special appearance outside of the mansion as you wait in line. She is super spooky!!
