Long Weekends are Made for Universal Resorts

Juggling schedules is a challenge for families and short vacations and extended weekends are a great solution. I kind of have a rule that once I complete a vacation, I immediately start working on the next one, or the next one, etc. It helps me get through those post vacation blues!  This year I think we are going to try to work in a lot of long weekends.

Universal Orlando is a perfect choice for your next long weekend. It is one of my favorite destinations for 3-5 days. We fly into Orlando, grab the Superstar Shuttle and head right over to start having fun. We always stay at a deluxe property to take advantage of the Express Pass to make the most of our time in the parks. It’s well worth it. I love that everything is so close by, it makes it such a manageable trip.

Guru Laura Lazicki just returned from a trip to Universal and here are her top three suggestions:

  • We stayed in the Club Level at Royal Pacific as it was just a $100 difference in price – the food was fine – nothing to make a meal out of, but enough to get you along, especially at breakfast. Nice benefit, you can get as many bottles of waters as you want and bring them to the parks. As long as they are not opened before you board the boat – you are good.
  • The Express Pas is the way to go. The lines for those without the Express Pass for almost all rides were an hour or more. But with Express Pass, we never waited more than 5 mins.
  • Wet N Wild was fine, but I would like to try Aquatica at SeaWorld next time.
All of our team members have received extensive training in Universal and have advanced certification in Universal Vacation Planning.  Let’s chat, we’d be happy to help you fit in a theme park vacation this summer.

What Our Clients Say

My grandson Oscar (5), son Johnathan, sister Kim and I went to Disney World for a week.  When I first had the thought to go I thought, where do I begin?  I put a shout out on FaceBook and discovered that Beth was a guru.  All I had to give her was my dates and we started from there.  She gave me options for resorts, told me about the dining plan, park hopper, fast passes and resorts to stay in.  She walked me through every step of the way.  I know that our vacation would not have been half as fun or organized if not for Beth.  I can’t say enough good things about her.  I would ask a silly question, she would reply and not make me feel like it was silly.  There is so much to Disney that I know it would have been a nightmare without her.  She is always, friendly and helpful.  She never tried to sway my opinion one way or another and let me make the decisions.  I would definitely have been lost without her.  I recommend her to everyone who says they want to go to Disney World.  Thank you Beth for the vacation of a lifetime.
