“What is your budget”…..this is my first question I always ask when a client wants to go to Mexico on an all-inclusive vacation. This question stumps most people and they always come in way to low, which is very common as they really don’t understand what all-inclusive means.
An all-inclusive vacation package means that the following are included in the price you are quoted:
- Round-trip airfare
- Ground transfers to and from the resort from the airport
- All of your food and drinks
- Your guest room at the resort
- All your taxes and gratuities (more on gratuities in a bit)
So to help you plan your next all-inclusive vacation, here are some ranges for a 7 night Mexican all-inclusive vacation.
Holidays and Winter Months
Adults – $2000 – $2200 per adult for the week
Children (usually under the age of 12) – $1300 – $1500 per child for the week
Spring, Summer and Fall
Adults – $1500 – $1800 per adult for the week
Children (usually under the age of 12) – $1000 – $1300 per child for the week
Keep in mind that these price can go up or down greatly based on the resort you choose and if any of the resorts are running any promotions.
So turning back to gratuities, in most cases you do not need to tip except in a few instances…anytime you have a driver driving you somewhere, the bellman who brings your luggage to your room and if the bartender/waiter does something extra special for you. These are the times in which a tip is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in the hearts of the resort workers.
As with any vacation…the best plans start with a conversation. We want to hear your dreams and wishes for planning the perfect trip. We take pride in pairing you up with the perfect resort!
