Surprise Your Children

Guest Blogger Leeanne Roberts

Have you ever wanted a unique way to surprise your children with a trip to Disney World, Disneyland, or a Disney Cruise?  If so, here is an idea for you.

Choose 5 to 8 different color balloons for each child.  Designate 1 color (the same color for each child) as the final balloon.  Place different Disney themed questions on a piece of paper.  Put 1 question inside each colored balloon (except for the color that you have designated as the final balloon).  Questions can anything.  Who is your favorite Disney Character?  What is your favorite Disney movie?  After the questions have been placed in the balloons, fill them up with helium.  The last colored balloon that you picked should then have the Disney destination that you are going to visit on it, and should have a ribbon attached to it.
After you have prepared all of the balloons, place them in each child’s closet (with the exception of the last balloon with the ribbon attached to it).
When the kids arrive home from school, sports practice, etc., have a note taped to the door of the house which tells them that it is time to play a game and they must follow the instructions on the note.  On the note, tell them that they need to go to in their room and look for balloons.  When they find the balloons, they must sit on each balloon (one at a time), and pop it.  They must read the question inside the balloon & answer it.  Once they have done that, they must look for a final balloon which is hidden somewhere else in the house (this is the balloon that will have the ribbon tied to it).  When they find that balloon, they must sit on it and pop it.  Then ready the note inside that says………..”You are going to Disney World!”  Make sure that all of the children pop the final balloon at the same time so that they have the big surprise all at the same time.
Be sure to get a picture of their faces!  It will be priceless!

What Our Clients Say

My grandson Oscar (5), son Johnathan, sister Kim and I went to Disney World for a week.  When I first had the thought to go I thought, where do I begin?  I put a shout out on FaceBook and discovered that Beth was a guru.  All I had to give her was my dates and we started from there.  She gave me options for resorts, told me about the dining plan, park hopper, fast passes and resorts to stay in.  She walked me through every step of the way.  I know that our vacation would not have been half as fun or organized if not for Beth.  I can’t say enough good things about her.  I would ask a silly question, she would reply and not make me feel like it was silly.  There is so much to Disney that I know it would have been a nightmare without her.  She is always, friendly and helpful.  She never tried to sway my opinion one way or another and let me make the decisions.  I would definitely have been lost without her.  I recommend her to everyone who says they want to go to Disney World.  Thank you Beth for the vacation of a lifetime.
