Dreams Natura Resort & Spa- Review

In my continued efforts to show what travel looks like in a covid-19 world, I recently headed back to Cancun to tour properties. In my findings I am seeing that Mexico is doing an amazing job at keeping capacity at bay while and adhering to safety for travelers. Your personal level of comfortability plays a huge role in if travel is right for you right now. I am here to share my experiences and offer travel advice to those who are looking to travel.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the brand new and highly anticipated, Dreams Natura Resort & Spa.

Inspired by the surrounding Mayan jungle, the all-new Dreams Natura Resort & Spa will offer a unique UnlimitedLuxury® experience. Facing the Caribbean Sea on a white sand beach, the 553-room resort is a short 10-mile drive from the Cancun International Airport. In flight, your flight attendants  will offer you your immigration paperwork, IF there is enough. On our flight, they ran out of sheets. I like mine filled out in advance because I do not like doing it once I am off the plane. You will thank me for giving you THIS LINK to fill out your paperwork in advance so you can walk right by people who had to step aside to fill in their paperwork. Make sure you print your form in color, and each traveler will need their own.

The wait-time will depend on the time of day you arrive. This time there was only a 10-minute line. Mexico did have social distancing reminders throughout the line and they made several announcements. Once you make it through immigration, you can then proceed to grab your luggage.

It was so nice to have our luggage already waiting for us at our carousel…we grabbed and went!!

As you exit the airport to the transfer area, we looked for our AMStar Representative who wears a blue flowered shirt. AmStar is my very favorite transfer service in Mexico! You can opt for a shared, private, or private deluxe transfer. We opted for a private transfer.
