As a vacation planner I am constantly asked about how much money I think my clients should bring for shopping and souvenirs. That really does depend on the family as everyone’s budget is different. So right now I am speaking as a mom that is always looking for a way to keep my kids happy without breaking the bank.
Recently I was strolling through Epcot, minus kids, and had some time to browse through the kiosks that were there. I stopped in China and took a gander at the super cute umbrellas that they have there. I am going to get off on a tangent here. I like souvenirs that offer something beside a regular key-chain, or mug. I really like the element of picking something that is unique but for a great price which is why I fell in love with the idea of purchasing an umbrella from China at Epcot.
I love that for $16 or less you can get an umbrella and they will even write your name on it in Chinese. This is a great way to use your souvenir money!! I don’t know about your kids but my kids LOVE umbrellas!! Another neat tidbit is that they come in a variety of styles good for both boys and girls.
Next time I go to Epcot I am going to be directing my children to this are to see if they would like to purchase an umbrella from Epcot…not only is it very inexpensive but super cool too!
