I recently had the absolute pleasure of spending a week with my family at the Universal Orlando Resort. We are firm believers of staying on property, especially at Universal. This is not only because of the beautiful resorts but also to take full advantage of the Universal’s Express Pass.
For this stay, we decided to stay at Loews Royal Pacific Resort (LRP). This tropical paradise is just a 10 minute walk from the parks and a quick water taxi ride over to the parks. While staying here your family will enjoy the family fun around the island oasis pool with sand beach, dive in movies and much more!

We are a family of 5 and we do not spend a lot of time in the room so we opted for a standard room and fit just fine. You will need to rent a roll-away for a fee of $25 per day which your Guru Agent can add to your reservation at the time of booking, if needed.
While we were there, we took an exclusive tour of the resort and we were totally wowed by the kids suites. The Royal Pacific Resort has a total of 8 Kids Suites all with a Jurassic Park theme. Of the 8 Kids Suites the hotel has 1 Kids Suite that is located on the Concierge Level. My boys went wild for these rooms, looks like this will be next on our list of places to stay when we return.

We LOVED the torch lighting ceremony featuring the “oli aloha” welcoming chant, a fire dancer and more. This event is poolside on select evenings.
All day long servers are circling the pool with beverages and food orders. Once you plant yourself in a chair, there is no need to get up! A huge hit were the nachos..boy o boy were they HUGE and yummy! For only $9.99 our family of 5 indulged in the nachos as a nice snack. I wish I would have taken a picture. :0(
We truly enjoyed our stay at Loews Royal Pacific Resort and would not hesitate to stay there again.
