When you first arrive on board the Disney Fantasy or the Disney Dream be sure to take advantage of a fun way to explore the ship with the entire family. The Midship Detective Agency is an interactive search of the ship. You will be sent on one of two mysteries, “The Case of the Stolen Puppies”, or “The Case of the Stolen Artwork.” The Disney fantasy also has, “The Case of the Missing Show”, this one includes the Muppets.
To sign up, visit deck 5 right by the kids club. Pick up a card and casebook to begin your mysterious adventure. You will be given information about your case and then you will be able to begin.
My kids had a wonderful time exploring the ship and we did as well. A personal favorite of mine is the enchanted artwork. Pictures come to life as you wake them with your detective cards…there are even hidden speakers in the frames. The Midship Detective Agency is a great way to get to know the decks and how to navigate a map. I would be prepared as there is a lot of walking and climbing of stairs. This also makes for a fun activity at night or on a rainy day.
