Walt Disney World is known for it’s complexity when speaking of size, and I absolutely LOVE the fact that I do not need to pay a premium to be close to my room at the end of a long night. There is one bus stop which is central to everything, this makes the end of a long day much less stressful for couples and families with small children.
The grounds are absolutely charming and intimate! The Mardis Gras design is apparent from the lobby all of the way down to the lighted pathways to your resort room. You will feel like you just stepped in the French Quarter. French Quarter has both and outdoor and indoor bar, gift shop, horse and carriage nightly rides, nightly showings of Disney movies outside under the stars, water ferry to Disney Springs, bike rentals and so much more!
The price is something I want to touch on. For anyone looking for a moderately priced resort on Disney property with many of the added extras you will find at some of the deluxe Disney properties, Port Orleans French Quarter is your next Disney property.
