Immersive Family Fun at Dreams Flora Resort & Spa: A Tropical Paradise for All Ages

I had the pleasure of being invited to stay at Dreams Flora Resort & Spa a couple of weeks ago. While my stay was for business purposes, I appreciated the opportunity to stay, play, and dine like a regular guest. My stay was nothing short of simply incredible.

The grounds of this property will blow you away. I could not get over how perfectly manicured everything was. Just stunning!

As you disembark from your flight onto the sun-kissed tarmac of the Dominican Republic, an unwritten adventure begins to unfurl before you. One direction leads to the dazzling Dreams Flora Resort & Spa, an idyllic corner of the country dedicated to multi-generational family fun.

Arriving at the Resort, you’re serenaded by the heartbeat of the island – a rhythm that continues to pulse beneath everything you experience. Upon arrival you will be greeted by the staff with a cold towel and beverage. I love this about Dreams Resorts!! In addition, the bell staff will be there to take your luggage and guide you to your next step.

Your next step is going to depend on what level of service you booked. Guru Travel highly recommends upgrading to Preferred Club so that you can check-in like a VIP. Bell staff will direct you to either the front desk or the air-conditioned Preferred Club Lounge.

In the Preferred Club you will be greeted by the resort concierge where you can grab a snack, cool drink, and a comfortable chair. Your entire check in process will be handled by the concierge as you relax.

Inside, every detail of the Resort rooms whispers comfort, effortlessly blended with aesthetic luxury. From the spacious, kid-safe balconies to handy kitchenettes for late-night milk warmers or early morning espresso, every component of your room makes you feel like it’s tailor-made for your family.

I enjoyed my room quite a bit. The air-conditioning deserves an honorable mention because of how amazing it was. As a frequent traveler I find that the air is not always cold enough. I would also like to point out that the room smelled super fresh and did not have a single hint of the island smell. If you have travelled to all-inclusive resorts in the tropics, you know what I mean.

I loved the smart TV in the room. We enjoy watching movies in the evening or binge watching a new show. The TVs at Dreams Flora had the function for guests to log into their streaming apps. I logged into Netflix in the evening without a single issue.

I feel it is important to note that if you are in a suite, you will have a larger room offering more space as shown below. This space is a nice upgrade when traveling as a family.
