While Jim was at Marathon weekend at Walt Disney World last month and he had a chance to see the newest food option at Downtown Disney. On the west side there are four food trucks – Superstar Catering, Namaste Café, Fantasy Fare and World Showcase of Flavors.
The Food trucks are located between Cirque du sol and House of Blues on the West Side of Downtown Disney. Each brings a great taste from around all of the Disney properties. Superstar catering showcases favorites from Hollywood Studios with such flavors as the Turkey sausage with gold raison meatballs. Namaste Café is all about Animal Kingdom with Tandoori chicken or slow-cooked beef short ribs. Enchanted Fantasy Fare has all the favorites from all the Magic Kingdoms (from WDW to Hong Kong Disneyland). Last is World Showcase of Flavors and as you can guess it has some of the best treats from Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. I personally love the pierogies and kielbasa!

The food trucks offer a great alternative for quick service dinning, something that has been lacking on the West Side for some time. I look forward to trying the different flavors that the food trucks have to offer.
