When it comes to combining luxury, wildlife, and family comfort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village stands out as a truly unique destination. Having personally stayed here several times (I just returned last week), I’m excited to share my impressions, experiences, and insider tips to help you get the most from your stay at this remarkable resort. Let’s dive in!
🏨 Accommodation Vibes
My most recent stay was in a two-bedroom Savanna View villa. While the resort could use a little sprucing up—inside feels darker than I’d like—the peaceful and chill atmosphere of Kidani Village is perfect for a low-key getaway. It’s noticeably quieter than the livelier neighboring Jambo House, offering a more relaxed vibe. Honestly, I’d love to see some pops of bright, cozy color in the rooms to better match the vibrant outdoor surroundings.

🐘 Savanna Views That Steal the Show |
---|
If you’re an animal lover like me, splurging on a Savanna View room is a game-changer. Waking up to giraffes and zebras frolicking just outside your balcony while sipping morning coffee? Absolute magic. While I don’t always choose this option (since I visit often), it’s a must-try for first-timers craving that intimate wildlife experience. |
🍛 Dining Delights at Sanaa
Sanaa is one of my all-time favorite dining spots. With its exquisite Indian-inspired cuisine and tranquil savanna views, it’s a culinary treat.
Pro tip: you can grab a drink and bite at the bar without a reservation, but snag one if you want to truly settle into the dining room. Don’t let the bread service slip by—order extra and thank me later! Last, book your reservation when the animals are most active and arrive early yo ask for a window seat. We recommend lunch at 12:00 or dinner between 5:00-6:00 pm. |

🚌 Getting Around & Accessibility
Kidani Village’s bus stop is first in line before Jambo House, often meaning you can grab a seat more easily. The resort is large, so if walking far isn’t your thing or you have mobility needs, request a room close to the lobby. We encouraged my mom to get a scooter this time, and she was very happy she did.
The pool area is family-friendly with a zero-entry zone, perfect for young kids or anyone who needs easy access. |
💰 Is It Worth It?
While Kidani Village isn’t a budget stay, the extra space in villas and the convenience of in-room kitchens made it perfect for my multigenerational trip. Being able to chill in our room with the family and fresh laundry after busy park days truly enhanced our vacation experience.
