Budapest sits along the Danube River in central Europe and is a very popular stop with river cruise itineraries. Now it’s also been named the world’s top cruise port in the 2017 Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards.   • Vienna
  • Austria
  • Glacier Bay, Alaska
  • St. Petersburg, Russia

For cruisers looking for a European-like feel in the US and Canada, Quebec City was named as a top-choice.

In Mexico, Cabo San Lucas took the top spot in the category for Mexican Riviera, Central and South American port. Cozumel, Mexico, was named best in the Western Caribbean and Riviera Maya.

— King’s Wharf, Bermuda, best in the eastern Caribbean, Bahamas and Bermuda

—Dubrovnik, Croatia, best in the eastern Mediterranean

— Villefranche, France, best in the western Mediterranean
