Holiday Cruises

One can only dream about spending the holiday’s on a cruise. What a treat to have someone else make the Christmas dinner, make your bed, clean up after Santa (this is starting to sound more and more enticing!). But wait, while those things are amazing, why else should you consider a cruise for the holiday?

In my home we spend about $6,000 over the holiday season in extras. This includes decorating, hosting, gifts, and other house projects to prepare for the season. I have often dreamed of asking my family if we could opt to put that money to better use and get away together. Really, isn’t that what the season is all about?

Connection during the holiday is something that I know we have all lost. The focus is so commercialized and less about family connections. Traveling over the holiday can help you and your family disconnect from the world so that you can reconnect with one another. One way is the fact that you will be at sea without access to internet and phone service (unless you opt to pay outrageous fees).

But putting all of that aside, the holiday’s bring out the very best in cruising. Especially on Disney Cruise Line. The are a ton of exciting things that happen and are exclusive to holiday sailings on Disney Cruise Line. Here’s a look:
