Nestled in a secret location at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a tiki bar which is fantastic for adults and families! For anyone who’s been to Disneyland, you may know of Trader Sam’s located at the Disneyland Resort. Of course, Walt Disney World needed to create their own version which is unique yet very similar.

You Need To Know
This is a huge hit with Disney fans, you must arrive early as there are only 50 seats inside (my personal preference) and 80 seats on the patio (also cool and featuring views of the castle and Bay Lake.)
Setting
The setting is the reason why I would recommend it. There are featured drinks with fund names such as, Polynesian Pearl, Nautilus, Castaway Crush, Tahitian Torch and the Dark & Tropical Stormy. This tiki bar truly captures the romance of the South Seas through unique food and drinks. Be ready for a fun show! Many of the drinks have a fun performance involved with the order…I don’t want to ruin the fun…you’ll see.
Who is it for?
Everyone! I have seen families, adults, young adults. There is truly something for everyone! The ambiance is fun, the space is cozy and the memories will last a lifetime!
Tips
You cannot make a reservation…arrive early! They open around 4 pm and will stay open until around 1 am. Hours are subject to change. We love to visit before our ‘Ohana dinner reservation for a cocktail.
What do I recommend?
Don’t forget about the food. If you are looking for drinks and appetizers, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is FANTASTIC!

- Pan-fried dumplings with soy-sesame dipping sauce
- Headhunter Sushi Roll
- Order the Uh-Oa! and see what happens…lets just say, the Tiki goddess of Disaster is alerted of your drink order. :0)
Bottom line is this location is super fun, super unique and a great time for anyone looking for a unique location to dink, drink and have some fun.
