Have you ever wanted to do something special for someone that will make your heart melt??? Now is your chance if you are planning a Disney vacation!!! You can send out that special Disney feeling that everyone gets when they imagine their trip to Disney, and get the “warm fuzzies” inside at the same time!
Something fun to do: leave little treats of some sort for the people in your travel party from the characters while you are on vacation. They can be left in the room as you are going out the door, or you can put it beside their pillow while they are sleeping. However, it is very important that this been done in secret! You will want the people receiving the gifts to think that they came from the characters themselves.
My nephew even asked us if he could leave something out for Mickey after Mickey left him a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and toothbrush by his pillow while he was sleeping. We said, “Of course you can.” We set out a small glass of milk and a piece of cheese on a plate when we went to bed. When we woke up the next morning, the milk was gone and the cheese had been nibbled on;-)
When we took our niece on a special trip to Disney, Tinkerbell had left a Tinkerbell necklace with a note on our niece’s pillow while we were at the parks. When the necklace and note were found by our niece, she said, “Tinkerbell is real; she’s really real!”. She wanted to call her mom right away and tell her about Tinkerbell.
The magic that we saw in both of their eyes and heard in their voices was a memory that will NEVER be forgotten and ALWAYS “TREASURED”!
Those are just a few examples, but the joy will definitely bring a happy tear to your eye.
On a recent trip, we even received some special treats from Mickey & Minnie:-) You have to love those two special mice! They are the BEST!
