I have had the pleasure of visiting Castaway Cay several times. It is one of the most serene places I have ever been. But if you are an athletic junkie this is the place for you too!! There are so many different activities for you to partake in from scuba diving to parasailing. There are activities for individuals and families. What I am trying to say is there is something for everyone!
My husband is an avid runner so when he found out that he can run a 5k in the morning which you get a metal (“it’s all about the bling”) at the end he was so excited. He tried to talk the whole group into running with him but only my son would do it. They such a great time and was back to enjoy the before most of the guest were off the ship.
One year I tried parasailing; which was awesome. I loved being up above everything it was quiet and peaceful. The tour guide made it so when we came down out feet touched the water before we landed on the boat. It was a lot of fun.
There are great activities you can do with families like biking, hiking and snorkeling! There are so many trails for you to explore all over the island. I know that Kelly’s family had a blast biking around the island. There is an option called Fins and Floats where you can get large tubes or flat floats and snorkeling equipment that enables you to explore the bay. There are many sunken treasures to be found beside all the fish when you dive. I personally like the floats, soaking in the sun and enjoying the small waves.
Some of the other activities you can find are wave runners, aqua trikes, riding the banana raft, there is a stingray adventure where you get up close and personal with the stingrays and also a glass bottom boat ride to just name a few.
