We are continuing with our Best of the Best tips from the Guru Travel Team. Enjoy!
Most people who go on a cruise are told that the best place to have your cabin is in the middle of the ship. Which is generally true. But the best cabin I ever had was at the very back of the ship in a suite with a huge balcony on the Carnival Miracle. We were able to get the connecting smaller suite next door for our teenagers at the time. We were able to open up the partition and we had a HUGE balcony that wrapped around. Now the best part of this great suite and balcony was just relaxing and enjoying the view of the open ocean. You wouldn’t believe how amazing it was.
Now normally I wouldn’t go near any cabin other than mid-ship, as I get motion sick very easily. But I was able to enjoy this cabin and balcony without any issues and we sailed out of New York! New York can be a little rough at certain times of the year. We did have rain one day, but it was still fine and my motion sickness never reared it’s ugly head!
Don’t just take my word for it, please look at the pictures and see for yourself how beautiful this balcony was and how we enjoyed it! It’s a great place for those must-have sunset pictures. These cabins are a great find in the back of the ship that not many people know about. Or they are afraid of venturing away from mid-ship. Be adventurous on your next cruise! I’m glad our family tried it. We had a fabulous time and you will too.
Bon Voyage!!
