Hot: Travel Questions You Are Asking

Welcome back to our series on hot travel questions you are asking. This week we have an eclectic mix of questions you have been asking us. These questions are hot and we have answers.

  1. Can my baby travel without a passport?  It is important to know that babies, just like children and adults, are required to have a valid passport and the requisite visas when traveling internationally. No person, regardless of age, will be allowed on board an international flight without a passport. If you are traveling domestically, I always recommend having a valid birth certificate with you.
  2. Does my health insurance cover travel abroad? The first step is to contact your health insurance company to verify whether your emergency medical coverage extends outside the U.S. Contact the customer service department and ask these kinds of questions:
    • If I get sick or injured abroad, will my policy cover me?
    • Does my insurance cover pre-existing conditions abroad?
    • Will I have to pay health expenses abroad out-of-pocket and then file a claim for reimbursement?
  3. Does Disney World have strollers to rent? Yes, they do!

Recommended for children 50 lbs. or less.

    Daily: $15
    Multi-Day (Length of Stay): $13
A $100 USD credit card deposit is required for strollers rented at Disney Springs.

    Double Stroller

    • Daily: $31
    • Multi-Day (Length of Stay): $27
  4. Does Disney Fastpass cost extra money? FastPass+ service is included with your ticket, package or Annual Pass at no extra charge.
  5. Does a Disney Cruise require a passport? At check-in, all Guests must present valid passports or other acceptable proof of citizenship. All travelers are required to have a valid passport to enter or re-enter the United States by air. In addition to a valid passport, many countries require an entry visa based on your nationality.
