Ortiz Family Must Do List: Logan

Our Disney trip is fast approaching just 23 days until we are there!! I like to be somewhat organized for our trip but once we get there we are spur of the moment type people. I would say that knowing the parks so well helps us be able to to be this way. One thing that I think is important though is to know what everyone in your party would like to do when they are at WDW.  My kids ages are so spread apart that it is important for me to get their list of must do’s. Last week I interviewed my 14 year old daughter Lexi, you can finder her interview here.

Today you are going to meet Logan. Logan is my 6 year old Disney loving son! I for sure passed on the Disney gene to him…he loves Disney and talks about it non stop just like me. His list is rather fun and very honest so as you read just remember, these words came out of the mouth of a 6 year old..lol.

1. What are your top 5 rides you must do at Disney World and why?

5. Big Thunder Mountain- I love going on a fast train!! My tip would be to make sure you go on at night so that you can see the castle all lit up. There is a part when you pass the water where the train makes a fart noise. (okay there is ding number one…yep that is what Logan said…lol) I love when it makes that noise because it makes me laugh so hard!!!

4. Splash Mountain- I love that I can get wet on this ride and it goes really fast down the hill. It is cool when it makes a big splash at the end.

3. Tower of Terror- I like this ride because it goes up and down really fast and it is scary…I love the scary parts.

2. Test Track- Going in a car super fast is the best! I have to let everyone know that when you go through the hot and cold part you should cover your neck if you don’t have long hair. The hot burns your neck and the cold freezes it. (Ding number 2…Logan is so funny! I will tell you he is totally serious about this.)

1. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin- This is the first ride I ever went on and I love to shoot the aliens. I love seeing Buzz at the end of the ride. But the best part is at the end of the ride when you walk through the shop. My grandma always buys me something. ( okay come on now Logan…lol)

2. What is your favorite show to see at Disney?

I really like the Indiana Jones show. The stunts are cool and I like the fire and airplane.

Logan in the second row with Uncle Adam.

3. What is something new you would like to try at Disney for our upcoming trip?

I want to try some new restaurants and go to the Lion King Show again. I don’t remember it because the last time we went on it was when I was 3.

4. What character must you see when you are at Disney?

I have to see Mickey Mouse. He has the shortest line. (I have no idea why he thinks this but that is what he said)

5. What are your top 3 favorite restaurants?

  • Chef Mickey- I like buffets…I can get as much to eat as I want! I can also see all of the characters while I eat!
  • Coral Reef- I like to look for the fish in the tank. My favorite food at Disney is the lobster cream soup and I order it at Coral Reef.
  • Garden Grill- This was a lot of fun because the room moves and you can see different things. I liked the way the characters came to your table and we could be alone with them. (I am thinking he means that it is a more private setting than most)

6. What is your favorite snack to get at Disney?
I LOVE the Dole Whip Float.
Alright that concludes our interview with Logan. As you can see, so far my kids are thrill-seekers that LOVE food! It is nice to have similar interests.
See ya real soon!!
Kelly

  • That is adorable! Plus, a great list with great tips! My son, also six, is very serious about the tests at Test Track! That is all he talks about when he describes the ride. Too funny!
