My team and I had the pleasure of touring the TRS Yucatan Hotel last month. Let me tell you, this little gem is a force to be reckoned with in the Riviera Maya. This resort offers a truly unique experience allowing for the freedom to relax all surrounded by the comforts you need to feel you are on a well-deserved vacation. There are a couple of different TRS Hotels but the one we toured is in Riviera Maya. This property is a luxury, adult-only resort which offers a wide range of premium services and personalized experiences in a highly private and tranquil environment.
Property Overview
Just an hour from Cancun International Airport, this luxury, adults-only hotel, with its beachfront location and lush surroundings, offers comfort and tranquility. Enjoy the 24-hour room service, concierge, and waiter service at both the beach and swimming pools (three pools including a saltwater Infinity pool). Modern facilities include the fabulous Ibiza-style beach club, five international à la carte restaurants (one with show cooking), four bars and unlimited access to all the services and facilities of Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts.
Five things I like about this resort.
- The ambiance is very apparent from the moment you walk in. You are greeted by a luxurious aroma and a casual elegance. Staff are waiting for you curbside as you arrive. I like the immediate gratification of knowing I am someplace special immediately.
- As we toured, we had the pleasure of doing a walk through of all of the dining locations. The food presentation was very well done…even the buffet area felt elegant and well thought out. Guest appeared to be very pleased. In addition, they have a live musical artist each day. They had a gentleman playing the harp while we were there. Very elegant.
- The decor and grounds are very appealing. I truly enjoyed the modern yet romantic feel of the entire property.
- The rooms are AMAZING! Even the lowest cost room on the property gets a major thumbs up from me…so spacious and well designed…I am in love!
- THE PRICE! It comes in at an outstanding rate! I mean it. Contact us for specials.
Some things to be aware of…
- This is a couples resort. It would not be my first choice for singles unless it is a group traveling together.
- The property is large! If you want to utilize the other complexes, you will have a bit of a walk or you can use the golf cart service provided to you.
- The beach is beautiful but often times not swimable.
The bottom line is that this property is absolutely gorgeous! It comes in at a great rate and has a lot to offer. I love the casual elegance here which gives most the opportunity to know they are on a true vacation without the feel that you are out of place. This property is tranquil and quiet so perfect for couples looking for true relaxation and connection.
