My family had the pleasure of staying for 10 days at the Walt Disney World resorts this year. While we had lots of fun in the parks, we were able to explore more of what Disney had to offer. We visited the newest attraction at Downtown Disney called Splitsville.
We went early to be able to bowl and then have some food. I have been to a lot of bowling alleys back home but this was different. There are lanes on two floors for you to enjoy. There is an area for you to sit down and enjoy a meal both inside and outside of the alley. There is also a souvenir shop. I liked the merchandise that is available.
We had an alley on the first lane. When we checked in the service person not only took everyone’s name and shoe size for our rentals, then she asked if we wanted to have bumpers set up for the lane. Once we paid some grabbed our shoes and set off for our lane number.
We have a personal attendant that made sure we had drinks and food as well as the right shoes for the game; Kim’s shoes were to small and our attendant got new ones for her. We started to bowl and realized that the bumpers only went up for the kids, great for them but bad for me. I stink at bowling.
We ordered special drink cups that allowed us to use the Coca Cola Freestyle machine for 15 hours from the time you purchase them. We also ordered some appetizers. The menu has everything for burger to pizza to sushi. We played for 1 hour and 15 minutes at $20 a person that allowed for us to play 2 games. Click here for more pricing details.
It was a lot of fun to relax and play with the family. If you want to do something different at Disney this is the way to go!!
