Universal Fam 051

We are theme park addicts here at Guru Travel. We believe in spending good quality time with your family and theme parks provide a fully inclusive experience for families.

The Universal Orlando Resort has that old world charm for us old-school theme park addicts. Gives us a plethora of activities to pick from but provides a manageable experience for families with a good balance between fun and relaxation.

Resort Overview
• You will find the entire resort very manageable. Everything is within easy walking distance if you choose to walk….and the resort provides more than sufficient transportation with shuttle busses or water taxis which operate frequently throughout the day and evening hours.

• The two theme parks are side by side and only four minutes from one gate to the other.
This makes it feasible for you to enjoy all the areas of either park at any given time and
eliminate any concern about wasted time in traveling between parks.

Hotels
Universal Orlando has three deluxe resorts which are conveniently close to the theme parks and they will offer you four unique environments which you can choose from.

• At the Portofino Bay Hotel, you will experience a refined, calm, romantic environment where you can enjoy your evening coffee or wine in the piazza as singers sing the background.

• The Hard Rock Hotel offers a feeling of energy for teenagers and young adults who want
to do it all. Music is heard throughout the resort throughout the day and you can even hear
the music as you’re swimming underneath the water in the pool.

• The Royal Pacific Resort is one of Universal’s family resorts where children love to play in the oversized pool area. They will find the atmosphere to be tropical and laid back….like it would be at an Indonesian Island.

When choosing a deluxe property, you will have a different experience.…you don’t have to wait in the regular lines inside the theme parks. You’re offered a front of the line benefit that eliminates long lines, so you can have more quality time with your family.

• The newest onsite hotel at Universal Orlando is the Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which is
themed 50’s-60’s with a classic beach resort feel. The property offers many value options
while still offering an incredible ambiance of yesteryear. Your family can enjoy relaxing by the pool during the day and hanging out by the fire pit cooking s’mores at night.

Theme Parks
• You can relax and travel comfortably between both theme parks by taking the air conditioned Hogwarts Express and experience one of the newest high tech attractions in
Orlando.

• As you walk within each theme park, you will find everything closer to together and not so spread out.

• If you or anyone in your party decide not to participate in rides….Universal offers a
family room at major attractions which has seating, sometimes monitors and usually air
conditioned that the individual can use and relax while the rest of the group enjoys the
attraction. It’s a complimentary service.

• Universal has something for all age groups to enjoy together….whether it be shows,
parades, and they even offer on some attractions stationary seating so everyone can share
the experience.
• You will notice that most Universal rides and ride technology are more of what’s trending now and not based as much on iconic characters.
