5 Dreamy Reasons to Cruise on the Disney Dream

Before you’ve taken a Disney Cruise, it is hard to decide if you should forego your Walt Disney World Vacation for a trip at sea. For those of us who love Disney Cruising, we have 5 reason (there are a ton more) why you should consider taking a cruise on the Disney Dream. It is truly a dream come true.

  • The Disney Dream is the perfect ship for those who want to dabble with a Disney Cruise. A short cruise aboard the Disney Dream is best when combined with a visit to Walt Disney World. The Disney Dream departs from Port Canaveral, Florida which is a less than an hour from Walt Disney World. You can easily do a 3 night stay at Walt Disney World followed by a 3-or 4-night cruise.
  • Have you heard of Disney’s Private Island, Castaway Cay? You don’t need to pay extra for this beach day, because it’s all-included!  The views on Castaway Cay are like something out of a movie, with pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. In purse Disney fashion, they’ve thought of everything you need to have the perfect day at the beach, including lounge chairs, umbrellas, hammocks, water activities and an all-you-care-to-eat lunch buffet.

  • Disney is an entertainment company, sow when it comes to shows, I know you would expect nothing less than a Broadway quality experience. Exclusively on the Disney Dream, “Beauty and the Beast” is the newest Disney Cruise Line musical to hit the stage aboard our ships. The production was developed by a team of talented Broadway artists who adapted the story for the stage with innovative puppetry, cutting-edge theatrical design and breakthrough story-telling techniques. This is truly something you won’t want to miss.
  • Our specialty is working with multi-generational families. This can mean, it is hard to find a product which fits everyone’s needs. You need everyone to be entertained when it comes to travel. On a Disney Cruise, everyone in the family will be entertained. Like all Disney ships, the Disney Dream has venues and activities designed specifically for each member of the family. While the kids are piloting the Millennium Falcon and making new friends in the youth spaces, the grown-ups can live it up in The District – a playground Of course, there’s a ton for the family to do together, too, like our deck parties, live shows and the thrilling AquaDuck water coaster.
  • Treat yourself to something special. We don’t do this enough. And while you’re at it, why not treat your kiddos as well? Whether you indulge in fine dining at Remy and Palo, a luxurious treatment at Senses Spa or a decadent dessert at Vanellope’s, you can spoil yourself and your loved ones all day long. To surprise the kids with something extra-special, book an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess, knight or pirate makeover so they can feel like the royalty they truly are! Your Guru Travel Professional will gladly book those special experiences on your behalf.
