Walt Disney World's Best Pools

Best Disney World Pools

Guru Travel Professionals travel to Walt Disney World in different ways, some of us are Disney Vacation Club members, some of us take several short trips throughout the year, some take 1 long trip. We have annual passholders,  Disney Cruise Line Gold Castaway members and so much more. But one thing remains true, we all LOVE Disney travel! AND  we all stay on property when we travel to Disney.

Disney has some of the best pools I have ever encountered while on vacation. The Gurus thought it would be fun to share with you what some of our favorite Disney pools are on property.

Lava Pool Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

My favorite Disney pool is the Lava Pool at the Polynesian Village. I LOVE the fact that you can see Magic Kingdom from there while over-looking the beach. The ambiance gives you a two in one vacation, Disney and Hawaii. What could be better than that!

Cozy Cone Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

My kids love the Cars pool at Art of Animation Resort. I have to admit I like it as well. The music is fun and the theme are both stellar.

Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club

Stormalong Bay at Beach Club everything is amazing at that pool!!! The beautiful sandy beach area where the kids can build a sand castle, take a trip down the water slide in a pirate ship, or just relax on a float in the lazy river are all wonderful attributes to this pool. I stated that the kids would like the water slide, but I happen to know from good experience that it is a fun treat for the adults in the group as well. The sand bottom pool, various tropical plants and flowers make you feel like you are truly at the beach. Adults and children can relax with the beach music playing in the background. The view at this pool area is absolutely out of this world. One can see so much at this pool from the gorgeous beach to the Boardwalk which is across the lake area. Both Tina and Emily would definitely rate this a “Must Play At Pool”!

Copper Creek Springs at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

This is not the largest pool on property but it makes up for it in theme. The pool at Disney’s Wilderness lodge gas a 67-foot slide, 2 hot tub jacuzzis and a splash play area. The ambiance here is so relaxing..makes for a super fun day with the family.

‘Ol Man Island at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside

I added this pool to our list because it is truly a little oasis. There are a ton of leaky water parts (yes, on purpose and a 95-foot-long waterslide. I love that there is a kids pool right there as well as the super close pool bar and hot tub. If you are lucky, you may even get a spot on one of the hammocks.

The Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

This is the largest pool on Disney property. Why did this one make it to the list? The theme is so cute!!! You will see Nemo, Crush and other fun characters around the pool. We love the underwater speakers and the Schoolyard Sprayground…such a fun pool day!

The Uzima Springs pool at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village

This 11,000 square foot pool is facing the Uzima  Savanna. We love the gentle, zero-depth entry and the 67-foot waterslide. The pool has a nearby loun and bar with refreshments and snacks. I love ordering food and beverages poolside here.
