I am a Disney Dork! When we visit Disney we wear matching shirts, Crocs, Mickey Ears, and yes….we decorate our resort room windows and new for us this year…our door.
In October we had a wonderful 10 day stay at Pop Century Resort. I was lucky enough to get the room location that I love which is, the 50’s building first floor facing the Hippy Dippy Pool. We had rooms 5164 and 5165….love that area hands down. If you happened to be at Disney the week we were there, you may have noticed my door decor…I know everyone else did as they kept stopping to read our doors and check out our windows. Several people asked where we made all of our Mickey Ears.
Here are some pictures of our windows and doors as well as a couple I took pictures of from around the resort:
Decorating our windows and doors made the trip feel all the more magical! It also gives you a sense of feeling like you are a true Disney fan…yeah so maybe a Disney Dork, but so what? lol

You have inspired me! I have my Christmas tree ready to pack and the window clings in the bag! I am going to go to Home Depot and get me some red and green Mickeys!
Because we are at Disneyworld for Christmas,we always take our small Christmas tree, lights for around the television armoire, lights and decorations for the windows and the kids Christmas stockings. When we wake up on Christmas morning, all the lights are lit and Santa has hung the stockings and put presents under the tree!
[…] this. I have to tell you that ALL of our clothes fit into on suitcase. The extra suitcase held our room decorations, Halloween costumes and yep…our beauty […]
I really want to decorate our windows when we go. We’ve already got our shirts ordered. I can’t wait!!
Thanks for the info! Our first Disney resort stay was at ASMovies and we noticed all the window decorating then. I forgot about it so now I need to start thinking of things to do to our window! I saw some people with whole scenes set up in the window sill-would you bring stuffed animals and all to decorate the window as well or just stick with window-clings?
